By following up with your client’s on a regular basis you build a relationship with them and prove yourself reliable. The old saying “People don’t care what you know until they know how much you care” is a profound one and so true. It can take a few follow ups before people are ready to buy. They want to know they can rely on you. Think about how many times you hear about a product or business before you are ready to buy? Sometimes it is right off the bat but that isn’t the standard. Everyone is different.

Avon is a company that is all about relationships. To become successful you must cultivate those relationships. Personally I like to view my Clients as Clients and not customers. Even though by definition they are the same thing they have different meanings in the business world. A customer is just going to buy from you. They may buy a few things but they don’t normally have the loyalty that Clients do. They may disappear on a whim. Clients are often there for you or because of you. They trust you to have their best in mind. They know you are there for them and not just to make a buck off of them. Clients want your opinion and your knowledge. Often seeing you as a friend. That is what it is all about. Follow Up is the key to cultivating this kind of relationship.

7 Keys to Creating a Successful Avon Business

Here Are my 7 Keys to Creating a Successful Avon Business

  1. Be A Product of the Product – Wear and use the product! You are the best advertisement for your products. Share photos, videos on social media and when people compliment you on your fashion or how great your skin is, let them know they can shop your store!
  2. Brand Yourself – Commit to Being THE Avon Lady, not AN Avon lady. Always be ready for business by carrying brochures, business cards, recruiting materials and your smart phone so you can take orders right away. When I’m out running my errands and daily life, I always keep extra brochures in my purse and whenever I exchange money or my debit card, I always give an Avon brochure to that person too.
  3. Consistently Give out Brochures Every Campaign – even if your customers don’t order at first, they will when you continue providing them your Avon service. Keep serving your current customers and actively search for more every campaign.
  4. Follow Up – Follow up with your customers after you give them a brochure they’ll appreciate your service! I simply ask “Have you had a chance to look through the brochure I left you? I’d be happy to get any samples you’d like. I’ll be placing my order on Monday.” My customers expect my reminder call or text and love it, because their lives get busy!
  5. 5 Contacts a Day, 5 Days a Week –  To rapidly move your business forward, make 5 contacts a day, 5 days a week. These can be in person, handing out 5 brochures a day or connecting with people through text or Facebook Messenger. 5 X 5, 5 Contacts a day, 5 days a week.
  6. Ask for Referrals – Your customers love to share when they’re happy with the service you provide.
  7. Be committed – We gain customers and team members one at a time. To build up your customer base or team size, this takes time. Be gentle with yourself if you don’t move as fast as you’d like. As long as you are moving forward, that is what matters.

Set Goals

Set a goal to commit to these steps for 6 months. You’ll NEVER achieve your goals and dreams if you give up because it’s challenging. It’s worth it! Avon is worth it! Know that it is a business. You are opening your own business. Very few businesses in the world were successful immediately. They take work. Hold your Avon Business close to your heart and know that you are building toward a better future. You Can Do This!

Why you should sell $385 each Campaign

Hi Friends,

Today I wanted to share why I believe Avon Reps should be committed to sell $385 each campaign!

The majority of Avon reps join Avon to earn some extra money. Yes, some people join just to get their own products at a discount and that’s great! But for those new reps that really want to earn money, a good goal is to sell $20 to 20 customers every campaign.

Why Presidents Club Though?

Why do you want sell $385 a campaign? When you do that for 1 of our selling cycles, which is campaign 1 – 26, you’ll achieve President’s Club. President’s Club is achieved when you sell $10,000 within one fiscal year.

Higher Commission and More Demo Options

President’s Club is the top 10% of all Avon representatives and there are lots of perks to being in President’s Club. First, you earn a guaranteed 40% commission and 25% on the fixed earning items, no matter your order size. If you go on a vacation and are only able to submit a $100 order, you’ll still earn 40% instead of the 20% regular commission.

You are able to order more demo products AND get more of a discount on demo products in our What’s New brochure.

President’s Club Luncheon

As a President’s Club member, you are also invited to a special luncheon each year to celebrate you and your achievements. There are awards and gifts and lots of fun! Once you’ve been to one, you don’t want to miss another.

Ms. Albee Figurine

Lastly, you can choose to receive a Ms. Albee figurine. Ms. Albee was Avon’s first representative and every year Avon introduces a new figurine and then breaks the mold and you aren’t able to get this special one any more.

Here is my Ms. Albee from the 2017 selling cycle. These are beautiful and a special treasure.

First Sales Tier

President’s Club is just the beginning in the sales levels of Avon. The higher you go with your sales, the more perks and earnings you’ll receive.

If you aren’t selling at President’s Club level, you aren’t really making any money with Avon. The average earnings for a President’s Club member is around $300 a month.

This is very achievable! So set your goals, make a plan and then work the plan!
