Create Launch Post on Social Media

create-Avon-launch-post-on-social-media

Isn’t it so exciting (and a bit scary) to start your Avon business? Social media wasn’t a thing when I started my business 15 years ago (myspace was!) but I hear from new representatives all the time that they have no clue what to post on social media.

Well, it starts with your first post!

This launch post is how people know you are open for business. his post tells people who you opened your doors for business, whats important to you, and how you can help others with their beauty and wellness needs.

Here’s a few tips:

Keep it simple, don’t overthink it, and be sure to tag me in it!

Take a selfie – it’s the first step to showing up on camera and building an online business.

With your launch post take a selfie! It’s the first step to showing up on camera and building an online business. Take a current one. If you want to be successful online, you need to step outside your comfort zone. If you need to do your makeup, do it! But do a selfie because people will be like “Oh my gosh! There’s Jessica!” Even involve the family, the dog, the cat, the kids.

Share from your heart and tell people that you are here to help them if they want more info.

Let people know why you decided to join Avon.

If you want to make money with Avon because you want to be able to take care of your autistic son’s needs, then share that!

“I’m so excited to share that I just joined Avon! I’ve loved their products for years and wanted to join to earn a little extra income to help with my son’s needs. Would you like to look through the newest brochure?”

A few more tips:

Don’t post the link to your online store or online brochure. I know you may ask “Well, how will I get the sales then?!”

Instead of posting the links, Ask the question

“Would you like to look through the brochure?”

“When is the last time you’ve seen an Avon brochure?” or

“Do you have a favorite Avon product?”

“What’s an Avon memory you have?”

The goal of this post is to create engagement! Then you can message those people 1 on 1 and say “Hey Sally! Thanks so much for the like (or commenting) on my post! Just curious.. would you be open to checking out some new products from Avon? No worries if not. Just thought I’d ask!”

When people comment, you’ll know who is interested in what you have to offer.

Honestly, how often do you click on a link when you see something posted online?

Here are some other examples that have worked well for other new representatives:

If you got the Starter Kit:

Think about doing a LIVE video unboxing! Your excitement in opening will be contagious! It doesn’t have to be a long video, just 2-3 minutes. Videos are the best way to grow your online sales, give it a try! You’ve got this!

Another post example:

Announce it….. say “In 3 days I have something super exciting to announce!”

During those times you can message your friends: “Hey Mary, you might have seen that I’m announcing/launching something huge in 3 days.. but I would love to share with you before. Would you be open to that?”

or

“Hey some really big things changed in my life recently and no I’m not pregnant,  hahaha.

I’m going to be live at THIS TIME here on Facebook to share .

If you want to be on that, comment below!”

Then for every person who comments and/or likes your post message them immediately and say “Hey Mary, you might have seen that I’m announcing/launching something huge in 3 days.. but I would love to share with you before. Would you be open to that?”

And track write every name down in your notebook

Create a post that would get you thinking “Oh fun! Good for them!”
